Who we are

The clinic is run by Dr. Sohel Iliyas Sayyed, BAMS, registered with the Maharashtra Council of Indian Medicine, Reg. No. I-101780-A. He is responsible for how patient information is handled here.

What we collect

• Contact details — your name, phone number and, where you give it, your address
• Health information — symptoms, history, examination findings, test results and prescriptions
• Messages — anything you send us on WhatsApp, including photographs of reports
• Consultation records — notes from clinic visits, home visits and Google Meet consultations
• Website data — basic, anonymous usage statistics if analytics are enabled

Why we collect it

To diagnose and treat you, to follow up during an illness, to send prescriptions and test advice, and to keep the medical records a clinic is required to keep. We also use your phone number to send appointment and health information over WhatsApp, where you have agreed to receive it.

WhatsApp messages

We use WhatsApp to send appointment confirmations, prescriptions, follow-up reminders and health information. Messages are delivered through the WhatsApp Business Platform, operated by Meta, and are subject to WhatsApp’s own privacy terms in addition to this policy.

You can stop these messages at any time. Reply STOP to any message, or call the clinic and ask to be removed. We will stop within one working day. Stopping messages does not affect your treatment in any way.

We do not sell, rent or share your phone number with advertisers or any third party for marketing.

Who can see your information

Your health information is seen by Dr. Sayyed and, where necessary for your care, by clinic staff assisting him. We share information outside the clinic only in these situations:

• When we refer you to a hospital or laboratory for your treatment
• When you ask us to share it with someone
• When the law requires it

We do not share patient information for any commercial purpose.

How long we keep it

Medical records are kept for as long as required for your care and by applicable medical record-keeping requirements. WhatsApp contact details are kept until you ask us to remove them.

How it is stored

Records are kept securely at the clinic, and digital records are kept on password-protected devices and accounts. Access is limited to those who need it for your care.

Your rights

• Ask what information we hold about you
• Ask for a copy of your records
• Ask us to correct anything that is wrong
• Withdraw consent for WhatsApp messages at any time
• Ask us to delete your contact details, subject to any records we are required to retain

Where we treat a child, information is provided by and shared with a parent or guardian.
